If you have an Officejet Inkjet printer that uses hp 88 printer cartridges, I have a really great tip that will lower your printing costs and increase the speed of your printer, as well.
Sounds too good to be true, right? What's the catch?
There's no catch ... it's simply a part of your printer's built in capability that many people overlook. I use Officejet printers everyday that use hp 88 printer cartridges and have got the art of saving money on print costs down to a science.
In your printer toolbox, under printing preferences, there is an "advanced features" tab that most people don't pay any attention to. Within this advanced features tab is the ability to not only manually increase the speed of your printers output, but also to reduce the amount of ink that your printer uses.
That's right - YOU can control how much ink that you hp 88 printer cartridges dispense during printing.
All you have to do is select the advanced features tab and then select 'change' under ink volume settings. If you're only printing document prints, then select the 'minimum' as the ink volume amount. Works like a charm and your printer will reduce the volume of ink that is consumed by 25%, which adds up to REAL savings.
If you want to speed up your printer and stop the pauses that usually occur between pages when printing, simply select the 'dry time' tab under 'advanced features'. Change this to the 'minimum' setting, as well.
When you combine the power of these features together, you can turn your Officejet printer into a printing monster!
If you want to lower your printing costs even further, I highly recommend that you use compatible ink cartridges however, ONLY from a supplier that provides hp 88 printer cartridges that contain American made inks. You can find those It'll save you money in the long run and you'll have fewer problems. On the other hand, you can always go the simple route and use compatible cartridges that are made with American made inks first. A recommended vendor that I buy my compatibles from is right here. That's the quickest and easiest way to save money on printing with minimal headaches.
I print no less than 10,000 pages per month with HP K5400's, so you can take my advice, seriously., at my favorite supplier. My name is June and I print thousands of pages every month for realtors and restaurants on printers that use hp 88 compatibles.
